Greetings! As the Apostle Paul often said, “Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
My husband, George, and I welcome you to the website of Fern Creek Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. From looking at the pages of this site, we hope that you can tell that we are a congregation committed to joyfully worshipping God with authenticity, serving Jesus by compassionately serving people, and intentionally sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through the amazing power of the Holy Spirit! We are not a perfect church, but we are committed to growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Rev. Linda Barnes Popham
Pastor
Linda Barnes Popham began her ministry at Fern Creek Baptist Church in March 1983 as Minister of Music and Youth. Later her role transitioned to Minister of Music and Education and then to Interim Pastor in August 1990. She was called as Pastor in April 1993. Linda, a native of Sheffield, Alabama, is a graduate of the University of North Alabama and of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Linda has served on church staffs in various capacities in Alabama and Kentucky since the age of 16. Linda married George Popham in October 2001 and inherited two step-sons and daughters-in-law. George and Linda have five grandchildren. Linda's greatest passion is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others.

Minister of Youth and Recreation
Will is originally from the Carolinas. He has called Louisville home for over 30 years. Will and his wife Lori, have 4 children: Nathan, Amanda, Emily, and Sarah; Emily, is in Heaven. He has also served as a youth minister at Hopewell Baptist Church. "I want to thank my family for the love, support, and encouragement to serve as a youth minister. I am excited to serve as a youth minister, to aid the youth of FCBC in their spiritual growth, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and to do great things for the Kingdom of God."
Anetta French
Ministry Intern
Anetta French has been at Fern Creek Baptist Church since birth. She is the daughter of Dutch and Theresa Kendall. Anetta and her husband, Harrison, were married at Fern Creek Baptist Church in July 2025. She is a graduate of the University of Louisville, with Bachelor of Music Degrees in both Instrumental and Music Education. For the 2025-2026 school year she worked as the Music Director for the Fern Creek Baptist Child Development Center.

Tiffany Keranen
Office Coordinator
Tiffany Keranen has been a member of Fern Creek Baptist Church since March of 2023. Tiffany is a graduate of Fern Creek High School, class of '99. She also graduated from Johnson & Wales University, in Providence, Rhode Island in 2001 with her AS in Marketing/Management. Tiffany and her husband, Kevin, have three children; Dylan, Lillian, and Reagan.
Jodie Towles
Bookkeeper
Jodie Towles has been a member at Fern Creek Baptist Church since 2001. She has served as Bookkeeper since October 2011. Jodie previously served as Stewardship Chairperson and Treasurer. She graduated from Sullivan University in June 1996 with a Bachelor in Accounting and in March 2000 with her MBA. Jodie and her husband, Chris, were married at Fern Creek Baptist Church in April 2006. They have one daughter, Emma Rae.
